Layout Registration
We are not accepting any more layouts for the 2025 Colorado RPM. If you are part of an accepted layout and have questions feel free to contact Michelle Kempema.
See “Layout Set Up” above for the schedule. Vehicles can drive into the building at 8 am and need to be back outside by noon (12 pm).
The cost of the electrical drops will be covered by the RPM this year.
WHY do the layout participants need to pay the registration fee?
At a train show, layouts are often subsidized and receive free admission for all the layout members. These train shows have the public attending to cover the overhead of the venue and the layouts are the entertainment for the attendees.
An RPM is a model railroad “Trade Show” for the hobby participants. Even though you are attending with your layout, you are a participant of the RPM. You are exhibiting your layout just like any other exhibitor is exhibiting his or her models. You can attend the clinics, put something on the display tables, enter the door prize drawing, talk directly with industry manufacturers, and shop with vendors and thus need to register for the RPM itself. You are also encouraged to write up your layout section and enter it as a display in place.
